Email invitations are the most controlled way to share an assessment or AI interview. Each candidate receives a unique, one-time link, so only the people you invite can attempt, and you can track every email’s delivery status. Sending Invitations

Open the invitation page

On your dashboard, click Invite under the assessment. AI interviews have the same Invite link on the AI Interviews dashboard.

Add recipients

Paste email addresses, or click Upload CSV for longer lists.

Review and send

Check the email, then click send and confirm in the Invite Candidates dialog.

You can send to a maximum of 100 recipients per send.
If the assessment or interview is linked to a job opening, the Invite button is disabled. Move the candidate into the linked stage instead and the invitation goes out automatically. See Changing Stages.

Invitation Templates

You can choose the Sender, whose email becomes the reply-to address, and edit the subject and body in any language. Body edits are saved per assessment or AI interview. Set Link Expiry (days) if links should expire; leave it empty and they never do.
Do not delete the assessment link from the email body. If you do, Equip blocks sending with a No Link Found dialog, and restoring it with Reset to default loses your current edits to the body.

Forwarding a link to someone else does not work, because the verification code still goes to the invited email address. See Invitation Links.

Email invitations deduct credits at send time, not when the candidate starts.

AI interviews

Each invited candidate costs the interview’s rate below, with no extra charge when they start.
For both products, if a candidate never starts, you can reclaim the credits once the invitation is more than 24 hours old. Reclaiming also revokes their link and deletes any test data. See Reclaim Credits.
Sending is blocked with an Insufficient Credits dialog unless your balance covers every invitation.
With a negative balance, results are hidden until you top up, and below minus 25 credits candidates cannot start their attempts. Keep enough balance for everyone you invite.
