The Application Link
You copy the link straight from the Job Openings dashboard. Each opening’s row has three quick links: Invite, Preview, and Settings.1
Open the Job Openings dashboard
Go to your list of job openings. Each row shows the job number, title, and its quick links.
2
Click Invite
Clicking Invite copies the application link to your clipboard. You will see a confirmation: “Application link copied! Share this link with your candidates. They can apply through it and will appear in your applications.”
3
Share the link anywhere
Paste it into emails, WhatsApp messages, your careers page, or job boards. Every application through the link flows into the same pipeline, recorded with the source Direct Application.
Equip does not automatically publish your post to LinkedIn, Indeed, or any other job board. Paste the application link into those platforms yourself; see Job Boards for the recommended setup, including LinkedIn’s External Apply option.
Job Post Statuses
A job post is always in one of three statuses. Only Published posts are visible to candidates and accepting applications, so make sure your post is Published before you share its link.
You change the status from a dropdown on the Job Openings dashboard. Published posts also appear automatically on your Equip careers page, which lists Published openings only.
Hiding and Archiving
Both statuses stop new applications, but they behave differently for candidates who already have your link. Hidden takes the post fully offline. Anyone opening the application link sees a 404 page, as if the post never existed. Archived closes the role while keeping the post available for reference: candidates can no longer apply, but the post is not erased from view.
Changing status never deletes anything. Your existing applications, candidate profiles, and pipeline history stay intact in the applications dashboard, and you can switch a post back to Published at any time.
