Candidate Search is a quick lookup tool for your whole account. Instead of opening each job post or assessment and searching separately, you type a name or email once and see every place that candidate appears.

Searching Your Candidates

1

Open Candidate Search

In the sidebar, go to ATS and click Candidate Search.
2

Enter a name or email

Type into the search box labeled Search by name or email. An email address gives the most precise match; a name works when you do not have the email handy.
3

Narrow with filters (optional)

Use the Activity type filter to limit results to one kind of activity, and the Activity date filter to limit results to a time period.
4

Click Search

Results load only after you click Search. Typing alone does not run the query.
Candidate Search is part of the Equip ATS, which is free. Running searches never consumes credits.

Search Scope

Candidate Search covers your team’s entire account: every job opening, assessment, and AI interview. Each result represents an activity the candidate was involved in, not just an application. The Activity type filter accepts these values: Because invitations are tracked separately from attempts, you can quickly check whether an invited candidate has actually started. Combine an invitation type with the Activity date filter to find everyone you invited during a given week.
Candidate Search finds a specific person you already know. To mine your past applicants for a new role using skills and experience filters, use Talent Rediscovery instead.

Managing Results

Each result row is a shortcut, not a dead end. Clicking a row deep-links to the dashboard that owns that activity: the job post’s applications dashboard, the assessment’s results page, or the AI interview’s results page. When the destination page opens, the candidate’s email is already pre-filled in that page’s search filter. You land directly on the matching record, with all of that dashboard’s tools available: the full candidate profile, scores, stage controls, and journey history.
Detailed candidate information lives on the destination dashboards. Candidate Search is the fastest route to them, so start here whenever all you have is a name or an email.
