Credit deduction policy for assessments

Tests in an Assessment

An Equip assessment is made up of 1 or more tests. For eg, you may have 1 Quiz and 1 Programming Question in an assessment. So, there are 2 tests in the assessment. We deduct 1 credit per test in the assessment. Specifically:

We deduct 1 credit when you invite the candidate to the assessment
When the candidate starts Test #2, we deduct the 2nd credit; when they start Test #3, we deduct the 3rd credit; and so on

If you invite the candidate to an assessment and they do not start Test #1, you can reclaim the credit we have deducted. So, effectively, you are charged 1 credit for each test a candidate starts. By start, we mean that the questions load for the candidate.

FAQs

Can I combine a Quiz and a Programming Question into a single test?

No. Because if that was possible, then everyone would have one test in the assessment and the 1 credit per test policy wouldn't make too much sense

Can I add multiple Programming Questions into a single test?

No. For Programming and SQL tests, you can add only 1 question per test. For Quiz with Equip and custom content, this number is 25 and 100 respectively. You can learn more on this link.
