Candidate Session Recording

Anti-cheating Measures

Equip has several measures in place to prevent cheating on online tests. We have AI-based proctoring by default, auxiliary device proctoring if enabled and Test Settings and Randomization Options that make it difficult to cheat. Session Recording is one such measure.

With Session Recording, you can see exactly what the candidate saw as they attempted the test. You can see the questions, the Equip notifications, the mouse movements, the clicks, what the candidate typed, etc. Based on the Trust Score, if you feel that the candidate may have cheated, you can use their Session Recording to learn more about their activity as they attempted the test.

How to view a candidate's session recording

The video below shows how you can do this. You click on the candidate's score, which opens their test results. You then click on the Proctoring tab, and click the Play button below. You can also use the controls to play the video at a faster speed, Skip sections when there is no activity and so on.
