# Interview Feedback and Results

> How panellists score a live interview, when a round completes, and how to act on the result.

After a live interview, each panellist scores the candidate on their own **scoring page**. Once the panel's feedback is in, recruiters get a **result page** that combines the scores and recommendations, with buttons to advance or reject the candidate.

## Submit Feedback

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the scoring page">
    Click **Score** on the [**Live Interviews** page](https://equip.co/recruiter/live-interviews/), or follow the link in the panel brief email. The left side shows the candidate's **CV**, **Profile**, and **Prior results**, along with any suggested questions for the stage.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Rate each criterion">
    Give a star rating for each criterion on the scorecard, and add a note where the scorecard asks for one. Use **Interview notes** for anything that does not belong to a single criterion.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add your read">
    If the scorecard includes them, fill in the feedback blocks, such as your **Overall recommendation**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Submit">
    Click **Submit feedback**. Anything still missing is highlighted so you can complete it.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Your feedback saves as you type, so you can take notes during the interview and submit after it starts. A scorecard can include any of these feedback blocks:

| Block | What you enter |
| - | - |
| **Overall recommendation** | Strong hire, Hire, No hire, or Strong no hire |
| **Level read** | Below level, At level, or Above level |
| **Strengths and concerns** | What stood out, and what gave pause |
| **Probe next round** | What the next interviewer should dig into |
| **Confidence** | Low, Medium, or High |
| **Questions the candidate asked** | What the candidate wanted to know |

<Warning>
  Submitted feedback is final and cannot be edited. Check your ratings and notes before you click **Submit feedback**.
</Warning>

## Blind Feedback

Panellists score independently. You cannot see anyone else's feedback until you submit your own, and drafts are never visible to anyone but their author.

| Viewer | What they can see |
| - | - |
| **Panellist, before submitting** | Only their own draft, and who else has submitted |
| **Panellist, after submitting** | Everyone's submitted feedback |
| **Recruiter on your team** | All submitted feedback |

<Tip>
  Ask panellists to submit before the debrief. Independent scores are more useful than ones written after hearing the room's opinion.
</Tip>

## No-Shows and Absences

The **More** menu on the scoring page handles interviews that do not go to plan.

| Option | What it does |
| - | - |
| **I can't attend this interview** | Takes you off the required panel for this round. You can change your mind while the interview is still open. |
| **Mark a no-show**, for a panellist | Their scorecard is no longer needed, so the round can complete without them |
| **Mark a no-show**, for the candidate | Available once the interview has started. Cancels the interview and returns the candidate to **To schedule**. Nobody is emailed. |

## When a Round Completes

A round becomes **Completed** when every panel member has either submitted feedback or been marked as not attending, with at least one submission.

Recruiters can also close a round early. Once the slot has ended and at least one panellist has submitted, choose **Complete without waiting** from the **More** menu.

<Warning>
  Closing a round early is final. Panellists who have not submitted can no longer do so, and their drafts are not included in the result.
</Warning>

## The Result Page

For a completed round, the **Result** action opens the result page. It is visible to recruiters on your team.

| Section | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **Slot and attendance** | When the interview happened, who booked it, and who attended |
| **Weighted score** | The panel's average score, with section averages beneath |
| **Recommendations** | A tally from Strong hire to Strong no hire, flagged **split** when the panel disagrees |
| **Criterion by panellist** | Every rating side by side, with a **spread** marker where ratings differ |
| **Panel feedback** | Each panellist's ratings, notes, and feedback blocks |
| **Activity** | Every scheduling, feedback, and attendance event on the interview |

The footer holds the **recruiter decision**: **Reject**, **Move to**, or **Advance** to the next stage. Each one opens the usual stage-change dialog, so invitations, credits, and rejection emails work exactly as they do elsewhere.

Earlier rounds carry forward. A later panel sees previous interview scores and the "Probe next round" notes under **Prior results**.
