# Demo and Trial Accounts

> Try Equip with free trial credits and interactive demos before subscribing.

<Tip>
  Equip has no separate demo or trial account. Every new team gets a real account with **10 free credits**, enough to assess up to 10 candidates. Explore everything, and subscribe to a plan only when you are ready.
</Tip>

## Free Trial Credits

Signing up creates your team's one and only account. There is no sandbox to outgrow: the account you experiment with is the account you keep using.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Sign up with your work email">
    Create your account at [equip.co](https://equip.co/account/recruiter-onboarding/). Signup is passwordless and takes under a minute.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Explore for free">
    Build assessments, invite teammates, and preview tests with sample content. None of this consumes credits.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Assess up to 10 candidates">
    Your **10 free trial credits** cover real candidate attempts, so you can see actual reports and proctoring results before spending anything.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Here is what the free credits do and do not gate:

| Activity                                 | Cost                            |
| ---------------------------------------- | ------------------------------- |
| Creating assessments (unlimited)         | Free                            |
| Inviting teammates (unlimited)           | Free                            |
| Previewing tests with sample content | Free |
| Using the ATS (job posts, pipeline, CVs) | Free |
| Candidate assessment attempts | 1 credit per candidate per test |

<Note>
  Recruiter accounts require a **work email address**, and each email domain gets exactly one team. Personal domains such as gmail.com or outlook.com cannot create an account, and a second signup from your company domain joins the existing team instead of creating a fresh one.
</Note>

When your trial experiments are done, simply **archive** the practice assessments. Your account is instantly clean, and you continue with the same team, teammates, and remaining credits.

## Interactive Demos
